Odd smell
 

I have a odd smell coming through vents after driving for 10-15 minutes. Kinda smells like a oil burn but im not sure. i have no other issues. 2002 Chevy SS . Any ideas?

Maybe gasket leak?

Is it oil or an antifreez smell?

Id check for oil leaks first thing than hopefully its somthing simple & easy

How's your antifreeze level in radiator ? It could be your heater core leaking .

It could be a valve cover gasket. They make a dye kit and light but i dont know that much about it. I think you put it in the oil and run the engine then look with the special light to see were any current leaks are.

i will buy that kit and check all fluids again tomorrow and ill post update

Mine does htat... emits a slight little cloudy haze too... it doesn't do it often but it will do it. I never have figured it out.

no cloudy haze yet but i am doina full fluid change in week or so , i will look close at stuff to find maybe a leak somewhere..ill post updates
