Exclamation Not enough fuel?

My car runs good but when I try to open it up, it acts like its not getting enough fuel and kinda bog some till I let off and then it's fine, just full throttle seems to act up and even cause the engine light to flash sometimes and then it goes off after letting off of full throttle. I dunno if it's fuel filter or what, any ideas and I drive a 2003 monte ss with 3800 series 2

It could be a bunch if different things. It could be caused by a clogged cat, bad plugs, plug wires or a dirty air filter. Has it had a tune up lately? Maybe you could take it to autozone for a scan and see if there are any stored codes.

Flashing CEL = engine misfire

Do a tune up and get the codes checked

Definitely doubt it's fueling.

I would start with plugs/wires/fuel filter.

You should feel a pretty peppy change after that.

I had the car checked today and there were no codes, I took it to the muffler shop and I was told it looked like the original cat on the car and they test drove the car also and came to the conclusion it was the cat by the performance. Thanks to everyone for your input.

I had the catalytic converter and fuel filter replaced today, the car is a complete different car like night and day! The cat was clogged pretty bad and fuel filter seemed due for a change, this SS runs like a beast now!
