new valve spring?
The 1.9 modded stock rockers will work just fine with the stock valve springs.
The only real reason to upgrade valve springs is if you're experiencing valve float.
I'll dig up a thread later that compares a bunch of spring rates. I kinda wish I had seen that before I swapped out my springs, as there are some springs out there that have a high seat pressure, but a low spring rate so they will keep the valve from floating when I'm in boost but won't tear up the chain.

Don't touch the springs- stock is fine. If you ever tune it, just don't go crazy with your shift points- keep them fairly close to stock to garauntee you won't have float (not like you would make that much power at high rpm with stock cam/heads anyways).
