im wondering about my drivetrain, i have a 85 monte carlo ss cone stock 305, 200r4 trans,3.73 rear end. i thought that all 85 SS came with a positrac rearend...but..my car doesnt seem to be posi because when i get em spinnin im a 1 wheel wonder. any help on whetheri have posi or Limited slip, or if my posi is messed up would be nice, thanks.

If you had posi, both tires would spin. In the 80's monte's, posi was only a $100.00 option, that unfortuanly not as people as you would think opted for it. The only other thing would be that your posi is broken. To varify you have it in that case, you would have to pull the rearend cover.
