More swapping questions
Well its just a matter of waiting till the GTP gets here, and I'm tryin to make sure everything is in order for when it does. I'm planning a top swap and to carry a few parts over from the 4t65e-hd. I'm gettin ready to order the tuner http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=886&catid=107
Now I havent asked the guys at ZZP yet because they'll probably charge me, but what all is going to need to be changed on the PCM?

Do you have access to a tuner? If you have the spare car, it might be worth it to just swap the whole engine + PCM, then you don't have to deal with the high compression when it comes to modding.
Also, ZZP never charges for answers, they have helped me plenty of times with products I purchased used and not even from them, though it was their product. Example they would send me the instructions for products in PDF form and explain things to me eventhough they didn't make the sale!

Well it won't hurt to ask, although its not really gonna be listed in an instruction manual, I need to know exactly what parameters are gonna need to be changed for the car receiving the top swap to haul a** and not explode, and to make the car donating parts run well enough to get my brother to work.
Just sent em an email, although i have the feeling some of the info wont be free

Yeah, ZZP doesn't charge you for info. I also have asked them a number of questions, they even sent me installation instructions for my CSC (which I bought from a guy on clubgp, not ZZP).
I'm betting on that they give you a very brief answer that will get you started in the right dierection, but you're going to need to spend some time working on it. Tuning takes LOTS of practice.

I agree. Every car is different so they can only tell you what to do, but not how much to do it.
Another thing that I just thought about, do you have a wideband? That's the best way to tune a car if you are not going to use a dyno for tuning.

ZZP should tell you what to change just to get it to run with the new injectors, but once you start tuning the PCM you won't get a very accurate tune unless you have one of these: http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=969&catid=168
This will allow you to see how rich or lean you're running which will be very helpful when you tune it.
