I didn't realize this was a dead thread.

I couldn't get past Trewyn15's post, immediately after OP.

OP asking for RWD LSX Wbody...
Second post clearly shows RWD Wbody with link to YouTube... yet Trewyn said nothing about owning one...

Then I realize the timing of the OP. LOL.

Good read though heh

i know the firewall the center of the car has to be cut and formed for a trans and a place for the trans and drive shaft. as well re-enforcing the rear for a axel for a rear wheel drive. it is a lot of fab just for the body work before dropping the engine and trans for the last time. as well a lot of keep checking for the clearences.but it is time consuming as well as money as well. i would take a cheap i mean a cheap w-body and start practicing on welding on it as in working on the firewall pulling it back as well learning to make the hump for the trans. it is just me. but i would just keep it front wheel drive and get the 80 model monte and go from there.

Anyone who makes a late model, '90 to '07, RWD Monte is pretty crazy, especially if it has an 3.4 in it as the power plant. He, or she will also be my hero. Good work!

Thus the reason I built one.. I grew up drivin Irocs and TransAms but around 30yrs. of age... I couldnt do the climbing in and out thing anymore.. As for buddy that said pathetically trying to do donuts.. Your right.. But, I was having transmission problems back then.. I dont put all the particulars on the internet.. Arizona TPI had shafted me on a computer so i had to manually ground the solenoids to achieve 1st gear.. I had dropped the wire at 1 point. And as MonteMan said.. I have crap 2.73 gears.. combine that with a 29" tall tire.. And it gets pretty rough.. Ill tear you up on the freeway though!! My buddies all hate how i run rite with their 2011 Vetes and yes "Gaystangs" too on the highway..
Vids or it didn't happen, last I remember you had an LS1?

Perhaps someone didnt grasp just how big a a55hole I really am?.. This isnt a video challenge/ faceoff.. I have never owned an Ls1.. And why do you have photoshopped tires on the rear of a car? I been meaning to ask what that was all about.. Or -not- about..

I never said it was... I did say you wouldn't beat a good driver in a c6 with an ls1 Monte. But.... you say you dome have an ls1... so what do you have in your rwd Monte?

The picture in my Sig is obviously photoshopped and obviously a joke.

If I did do a rwd swap I would at least make it clean and not half assed. That's all I'll say about the subject.

I see another post that says it's an ls2... it's weird that he only shares limited information about the car especially with all this interest in the car.
