Thats almost double what you'd pay if you sourced the parts yourself. I definitely like Morad, he's been in the 3800 parts business for a long time- but like any other top swap 'kit', you pay to have them source all the parts for you.

yeah im also looking into this, logicaly its cheaper but if u source the parts for yourself you need to look out for warp and and all that.

Go to RegalGS.org and sign up. PM user "Murphinator"- he sells COMPLETE top swaps for $400. A bunch of guys have his top swap kit installed with no complaints.

It's not haha.

Granted you will need gaskets and fluids and everything still. Plus a PCM to work for it.

Im tired, this amuses me. And sourcing everything is a a pain, this is all in one, and all in one shipping price.

This is true even with the heads from a kit though- I'd still have them checked before you stick them on.

Spending a couple hours on the various forums isn't worth saving $400+?

All it takes is a little research to find exactly what parts you need, then a little more research and common sense to find out what problem areas to look for. Heck, there are a lot of FS threads on clubgp that include the bulk of the parts for far cheaper than the vendors, so you wouldn't have to hardly source anything else.
