Default It's been awhile...

Hey everyone,

It's been a long while since I've posted here. I've been creeping now and then but now I'm finally here for a bit of an update.

My Monte will finally be getting it's heart transplant after years and years of waiting. I'm just about done building the motor with my dad.

It's a 350 from a 70s truck, bored .040 over. Using Sealed Power pistons and rings. I believe the crank is stock but machined. Using '98 Vortec heads, ported and cleaned up. They're supposed to have better flow. Bought a brand new Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap Vortec intake manifold. Going to be taking the 570 Holley Street Avenger off my 305 and seeing how that runs for the time being. Probably going to have to upgrade to a 650.

I'll have the motor finished and built next weekend, and depending how things go, it'll be in the car next weekend or the one after that. I'm going to see how long it will take for me to wreck my turbo 200c transmission before I put in a turbo350. I'll be sure to take a video of the tires being roasted off.
