I was looking on ebay and found these two engines. I want to know if they would be able to work with an engine swap from my 3.5L V6. They both came out of an 06 impala SS so im sure it will work but what else would i need to buy along with it and what are your thoughts? Btw im doing the swap myself with help of family 06 Impala SS Motor Engine 5 3L Vin C 8th Digit 383955 | eBay And the other one..... 06 Impala Engine 5 3L Vin C 8th Digit 131113 1091739 | eBay

I don't have a budget of 2k I was just hoping that it wouldn't cost more than that.

^ what the gasman said, best bet with engine swaps is to buy an entire donor car as you will need a bunch of parts and still very unlikely to be done for under $2k.

Oh come on you had a thread on that too.... It's more to it than bolting on a turbo kit and away u go. In fact there isn't a already proven turbo kit for those cars, u brought the wrong car with the wrong engine.. Just be happy with going from point a to point b

Please dont comment if your going to be negative about my ambitions for my car. I never said it would be easy and cheap. I just said thats something I want to do and its going to happen sometime, maybe not soon but thats what I want. I dont see it just getting from point a to b, I love everything about cars and want to get the best of what i have.

Can't you sell your car and buy an SS instead? Or a trade in? I'm just saying that's the easiest route for about or maybe less than what the swap is gonna end up costing you. Fastest route also and you won't be out of a car for a month or two

Actually I was thinking of just doing mods on the 3.5. Mainly simple stuff and keeping it for a while instead of swap or turbo. Ill worry about that later
