I'm going to check it out in a few days and i was wondering if was a good deal, first i have to see if its good shape and not seized and all, but i get it, would i have any trouble dropping out the 305 in my 1984 monte carlo and dropping this one in? motor mounts and and engine space, that sort of things?

305 and 350 are the same as far as mounts and size of the block. It will fit right in.

 

seems like a pretty good deal. ask him for the numbers off of the block and on the cylinder heads. thatll let you know what your dealing with. on the first page of the link im posting is casting numbers and head numbers. mortec is gone but thats the listing from there site. id also ask what trans that is. i cant tell from the pics on there.
