Default How will an 04 Bonneville L67 fit?

I got a price for an 04 Bonneville with 50k miles for $1500... price is firm and it started at $1800.

I'm not too sure what exactly the differences are from the W Body's and the H - Body's and such... but I did read up and I know that the 99 - 04 GTP's are the best fit for Monte's.

So how difficult would the swap be with an 04 Bonneville?

This is on a 98 Z34 Monte

H-bodies have different mounts for the 3800's. Otherwise nothing else that's major is coming to my mind.

If you use the top end for a top swap you shouldn't have to worry about the mounts though IIRC.

Is the engine harness the same?

The H body balancer is nicer than the wbody one- its more beefy. I had one a long while ago that I took some pictures of from the backside, and it does have more material in it.

Harnesses shouldn't matter since he'll have to use his stock harness anyways, and I don't think the location of anything is different on an Hbody.

Going to be a complete swap, I'm going after the entire powertrain.

Could you please break it down for me a bit more? [;

Why so cheap? Must be something wrong internally. I know I wouldn't let go of a 04' Bonneville for that cheap unless that was something drastically wrong, like a bad transmission, or something internal that you wouldn't even pick up on until after the motor quit on you. Just saying Bonneville's are badass car's and $1500 seems WAY too cheap. The motor itself is worth almost $1000 with only 50k miles. which means the rest of the car is worth $500? Idk man something doesn't add up..

You do know I'm talking about the engine+tranny right? I'm not talking about the entire car, $1500 for a 50k L67 seems about right.

As others already mentioned, the mounts on the H body are different, so you'll have to figure that part out.
