Pushrods shouldn't be a weak point, no need to swap.

Coil packs you just simply remove your wires (LABEL THEM) and swap the coils and put the wires back on.

Unless the pushrods are longer than stock you won't see any gain & even if they are it's doubtful you will

No need to swap the pushrods, the L67's should be the same length as the L36's IIRC. Do what Chibi said and get the ER rockers. Best bang/buck mod you can do on an NA L36.

yes like said push rods dont change anything. the only push rods i can see helping are Light weight ones... but the loss of strenght IMO is not worth it. and stronger push rods are only needed if you go with a big cam.

if your looking for a valve train mod... ER rockers like said are the way for you to go. if you want more look at the ZZP GT1 cam :-)

What hp gains might i see with the rockers? And i think I might go with the gt1 cam. On zzp it says the rockers dont work with an aftermarket cam. Is there any rockers out there that do?

With these engines, you only do rockers or cam (one exception though is that you could get lighter weight rockers, but gains are minimal at best). A cam will give you more power then rockers, but rockers are close. About 5 1/2 years ago, I raced another 5th gen Monte at the track. My Monte has the GT1 cam, his Monte had rockers. When we raced each other that night, I ran a 14.70 against his 14.97. My best that night was a 14.67 and his best that night was a 14.83. We pretty much had the same mods besides the cam/rocker difference so it was pretty cool to see how that effected performance.

Another thing to consider is what kind of racing you are into. If you are into street racing (illegal of course) or 1/8 mile racing, then rockers are the way to go because you won't lose hardly any low end torque whereas with the GT1 cam, you will lose a noticable amount of torque down low. If you're into 1/4 mile racing and dynos (getting the most whp possible), then you have to go with the cam.

Another thing to consider though is that rockers are SUPER easy to install where as a cam swap can easily turn into a weekend project or more depending on your skill level.

IIRC correctly, rockers give you ~20 peak hp and the GT1 cam gives ~25-30 peak hp, give or take and is also dependent on other mods that you have.
