Default gtp injectors

well i know i havent been on here in awhile. but i gotta ask a question cause i cant find the answer anywhere else. what size, in pounds, are gtp injectors??? i know they make 42.5lb ones as replacements but i can get gtp ones reallllllllly cheaap and need to know specs on them. thanks guys

I don't know if there's a good way to say how much boost, it all depends on when you run out of fuel in your tune.

I would say you are safe with about 6 pounds of boost though.

X2; no one can give you a boost number, since boost is effected by too many factors.

10# of boost on a stock engine is going to require much less fuel than 10# of boost running heavily ported heads, a massive race cam, etc etc (since the boost goes down as you add mods; you would have to turn the boost up to still hit the same 10#, and you'll have much more airflow as a result). Then it also depends on your tune- how high you are revving it (higher revs require a bigger injector)- and what your WOT fueling is set up for as far as AFR.


Best way to tell is post as much about your mod list as you can. We can probably give you a general idea if it will work or not (or there are multiple websites out there that can calculate from HP and engine variables to what size injector you need).
