I hope it is a lot of fun and not a bad idea in the end haha.
I'm leaving my th350 tranny in it, it seems to be built really well so I have no worries about it. I'm also just going to leave my 10 bolt, but I'm only aiming for high 11's or low 12s at the best so it should all hold up.

Also we got some crazy weather out here. Our place only got some sprinkles but a nearby town got hammered by hail.


Poor monte :'(

did you think of doing an lq9, like all the ls1 guys do? gives you some more cubes, and should be cheap. granted it does weigh more.

Right now if I could get a local ls6 for $1000 if it all works out. It would be hard for me to find all of the other parts for this, not to mention this motor stock would be a huge improvement just because of the weight and power numbers.

just make sure its really a ls6 and not an ls1. should have the 243 heads on it.

For the price i dont really think it makes a difference cant buy either for a grand, too bad its not a Z06 LS6

Yea, I don't really mind if it is either. Can't beat the price even if it is an ls1. If I could find an ls2 for the same price I would be all over it but that is kind of hard to do haha.
