Talking Finally Supercharged

A look of my engine bay on Thursday night:

After

Installed ZZP's SS M90 Supercharger Kit, and polished aluminum F-body valve covers. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed tearing it down. Most work I had ever done prior to this was headers/intake/oil changes and other simple stuff so this was pretty far in for me!

Install was fairly straight forward if you understand how all of the components of the kit work and function. I must say the included instructions sucked! ZZP seriously needs a good write up on this. My friend has a great camera that would have taken awesome photos but we didn't want to stop after every bolt for a pic so we only took a few.

Had some troubles with some of the included bolts (kind of expected this after the crap I had already gone through with zzp). I had to buy a few bolts for the fuel rails. Also had to buy new o-rings for the fuel rails because they weren't included. And to top that off, I had to but new lower intake manifold gaskets since they were also not included as I previously thought. Could have probably had it all done in less than 12 hours assuming I would have had EVERYTHING.

Regardless I'm very happy with how the kit performs. I got the Stage 2 which includes #33 injectors and a 3.8" SS pulley. Pulls pretty damn good (compared to what I'm used too. of course)

Here's some pics. I'm going to clean up the wiring, etc. and get some finished product photos tonight

Contents of the Kit (minus supercharger)

Supercharger back from ZZP, finally they sent me the right one

A little bit removed

Finally getting exciting!

Valve covers before

Got the front polished up. They're even cleaner now

Here's a video of the first start up More pics to come!
