Default Engine Dress up 06-07

Yay I figure out I try and sure enough it works,

Went to ebay bought the 2010 camaro chrome oil cap the autobot one and got it in the mail today and just installed fits perfectly.

There are pieces from corvettes or espeacially the new camaro that chrome or billet caps can be used for our cars,

Now I got to find the steering wheel engine cap and other caps in chrome, there is a camaro rs chrome cap set from 2010 camaro and They may fit, I will do some research on sizing ask a few questions and find me the other engine caps in chrome.

Mods are fun

Bigger pics will be on my cardomain page soon

This may work for the 00-05 models, Is your engine oil cap similar to the 3.9 liter engine oil cap, That way when I find cool mods I can share with previous gen montes, Also is there any chrome engine caps availible for the 00-05 monte carlo online? If there are they may be simial to mine as well.

Funny, I just replaced my oil cap today when I got home because the new one came in the mail...I got an OEM Mobil 1 cap from a corvette...I just wanted it to say full synthetic Mobil 1 on my cap...hopfully any shop will see than and only use synthetic in my car...I got mine on ebay too...And the cap on the 06 3.5L is the same as my moms 2000 3800 Bonneville, so I would assume previous gen Monte's would also use the same cap.

While on ebay, I found chrome caps that said Mobil 1 on them too...almost bought one, but then just bought the factory Mobil 1 cap...now that I see yours on the car, I just might eventually have to buy a chrome Mobil 1 cap...Looks good man!

Ebay does have a mobil one oil cap in chrome, did you get the chrome one?

got my smooth chrome oil cap with nothing on it, just chrome at autozone for 8 bucks.
it doesnt screw on, it pushes on and stays on real tight. doesnt come off easy. i like that.
just checked on autozone.com and couldnt find a picture, but it was universal so it fits.
