Does changing the supercharger pulley...?
So i went to my local speed shop and i ask them about changing the pulley for the supercharger. They told me they can down grade it one size and it should (he wasnt sure) add 2 lbs of boost. About how much horsepower will that add to my car? i got a k&n intake on it and then ill have this with a ful magna flow exhaust...how much do you think my car will have!?

P.S. My car only has 57k on it is it safe to change the pulley...they said its just broken in for me?

every .1 drop adds 1 psi boost. HP increase depends on other mods. at least add a front power log and downpipe u bend delete when you do this. You should get another 20-30 hp. so stock 3.6 @ 6-8 psi a 3.5 is 7-9 psi. thats what I read on zzp anyway.

As Grizzly said, I'd do a plog and downpipe at the least.
The intake and exhaust is a great start. I personally would recommend doing headers. I have Speed Daddy's and would highly recommend them. They're Stainless, and you can get them brand new on eBay for around $200 max. I would say this is a better option than the front powerlog and a downpipe because with the headers you do not need the downpipe, because it is part of the headers.
Doing headers with the intake, exhaust, 180* t-stat, and possibly colder plugs would probably allow you do drop the pulley size. I would also recommend some way of scanning for KR to make sure you aren't seeing any detonation with the current mods before you drop the pulley

Stock is a 3.8" pulley FWIW.
At least do colder plugs, colder tstat, intake and I'd say headers before dropping a pulley size. But a tuner is your best friend, and KR is your worst nightmare.

my bad thought 3.8 was for a na swap and 3.6 was for supercharged.
fyi zjerry did powerlog, tstat, smaller pulley, ubend and downpipe and cant grab traction ever lol. He has a homemade intake too I think it was $30 bucks. He would be man to ask. I think he feeds his Monte a small Prius every morning.

Nooooo, a top swap has a 4.2" pulley "stock".
Everyone's results vary. My suggestion for anybody changing s/c pullies - SCAN, SCAN, SCAN. If you don't, you're gonna blow your **** up.

Looks like headers, a scan gauge, colder plugs, and 180 t-stat are your best bet right now to safely drop the pulley.
If you went with an Aeroforce gauge, Speed Daddy headers, Autolites, any 180 T-stat, you'd be looking about maybe $500 total but the gain would be totally worth IMO.

I agree with everyone else, don't put the pulley on as it is, do supporting mods first, and find a way to read KR
