There is a deal on this website Chevrolet Monte Carlo - Chevrolet - AutoChipsDirect.com : The Leader in Automotive Performance Modules!
You get the Performance chip for 60$ and a cold air intake for 119.99 is this worth it? and do they actually work willl i notice a difference with both of these mods installed

Chips are a total waste of time & money for our cars... Some members on here have tried them with little to no results... You can get a canned tune for $100-$150 and have something that will increase performance and match your mods... Word of advice, get all of your mechanical mods completed before you tune your PCM... As for a CAI, you can pay $300-$400 or you can DIY for half that amount... The only stipulations is that the box be insulated (heat is the enemy), the tubes have gentle bends and the tubing be the same diameter as your throttle body coupler... Search this site and you will find mild to wild mods in exactly the areas you're looking to do... Good luck and let us know how it turns out...

Chips dont work. Elevation, mods, ect dont get accounted for. All it is good for is a shift change and maybe a speed limit removal. Go to a performance shop in your area. They will tune your car to your exact specs, mods, elevation, ect. Its best way to go its even better then a tune in a can. They can even remove the eco boost crap on a ls4 in the seventh gen montes.

Here is what those chips do.

If you set it for power, it will force your car to dump gas by making it think that the air going into the engine is -40*. Since the car thinks the air is that cold and dense, dumping fuel at the problem is all it can do. Since you have that much "air" and that much fuel, it will try to add timing to ignite it all. Obviously this just makes you run rich and it will "feel" like you have more power, but in a little bit of time you will just ruin EVERYTHING.

If you set it for MPGs, it will do the opposite and make you run lean.

Cheapest would be to make your own Fenderwell intake.

Cheap and easy does not always mean good though. When you modify a car, save up and do it correctly.
