rebuilt a 350 for my 86ss went to turn it over an quickly realized i failed to tighten the clip down for the distributer does any 1 have any helpful hints or procedures i can do 2 get it back right fast an as painless as possible

 

I'm confused. You can rebuild an engine but can't set base timing?

 

yes i can do it but i was wanderin if other people done it different if their was any shortcuts maybe
so was u really confused or just tryin to b a jerk or a smartass

 

You need to find TDC. Any and all engine start from there.
