Hope the shop did the work they charged you for. How come they are not stepping up to then plate and trying to figure this out since they touched it last?

You had the solenoids changed out but were they tested afterwards? With a live data scanner (Tech2,solis,macnav)
Have you actually tried to manually shift 1,2,3 ? Without the shift lever going to the D position.
With the key in the ON position and engine off, remove the PCM fuse then turn the key OFF and then reinstall the fuse for the PCM. Start the car and allow it to idle for 2 minutes then drive normally but using the manual shifting method (do not put the shift lever/indicator in the D position) See if it makes a difference and if the code/light stays out.

I haven't tried since I got it back. The guy is a mechanic. Not a Trans guy. He took the car to his shop and put the Solenoids in. I still have the old ones in the trunk. But he did what he was directed to do. And he had done it before. He is a friend of the family.
Tomorrow I am taking it to a trans shop to have them check it. At any rate, she will be off the road as of Sunday. Can't afford to have her impounded. Will just have to see where it goes from there!

Oh okay, I thought a bonafide tranny shop took your money. That's nice of someone you know to offer up help with a tranny. Can't blame them for tryng. I'm hoping you get this resloved soon, know it has been quite the up hill battle for some time now with this tranny.

Best of Luck JC!

Thanks Greg, it's been an up hill battle with the whole car. So far it has been worth all the time, effort, $$$s, and Blood Knuckls. Once the Trans is done, YellaJAC will be at Peak Performance. Then I can see how she stands up to Broom - Hilda. (The Old Lady's 250 hp 3.5L Altima). I know ain't no Whiney Honda will have a chance unless it has Nitro!
I will keep you posted!

Had to take the day off yesterday the kitchen and bathroom sinks were backing up into the tub. While waiting for the plumber, I took YellaJAC to a Highly recommended Trans shop in my area. The guy said that he doesn't think my Trans problem is electrical, but wants the cay for a day to plug in his computer. I figure since she has to come off the road as of this Sunday, I may as well take her to him this week end so he can have it on monday. Then I can determine weather to rebuild or replace the trans. He said it would be about $1000 for a used one. So I think I'm going to go with that. I want to be sure the PCM is OK first though!
We'll see?

Default Update! Trans fix.

World Transmissions II in Passaic Park, NJ. is going to Fix YellaJAC's Trans. I managed to come up with a Grand, and Bill, the owner, said he can work with that. So by Next w/e Ol Yella will have that solid feel, that road handling Confidence that I have heard you guys talk about when you drive your Montes.
I can't wait!
