Coolant leak

Coolant leak
I have a 2001 Monte Carlo 3.8 motor. I have a coolant leak and I recently found a puddle of coolant just below the crankshaft position sensor. It doesn't look like its coming from the water pump. I can't get underneath the car to see if there's any hoses it could be leaking from. The puddle of coolant is in this bowl looking thing with a bolt on it idk what it's actaully called. The car never over heats it just constantly looses coolant. Does anyone know where this is coming from? Email me at jfiedler0895@gmail.com or text me at 732-966-5384 if you can help I'd really appreciate it. I can also email anyone a picture of the puddle

Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family
Sorry about your leak, but I find in problems like this is difficult to give a good answer without being able to inspect.
My best advice is to find a garage with a lift & good lighting to inspect.
How many miles on your Monte Carlo ? Do you know how old the hoses are ? You could have it pressure tested or dye put in to find the leak.
Please check back to see what our expert mechanical member's post on your problem > Good Luck <

Take a good look at the plastic coolant elbows that are in the belt tensioner housing. If you don't know where I'm talking about, just follow the hoses where they come out of the firewall and you will see em. They are common to crack and let antifreeze seep.
Not a hard or expensive repair but very common .
