Default .Changing SC Oil

I have just ordered some GM SC Oil from ZZPerformace ( thanks Amy ? ).
I am going to change the oil myself. I don't have a electric pump or anything
like that. I plan to use a plastic sprayer tube with the spray trigger to
suck the old oil out. The car has 58k on it and I don't know if the first
owner ever changed the SC oil. Although the car is in immaculate condition.
Any tips ?

Thanks

I just changed the supercharger oil in my 2004 Dale Jr car. I used a spray bottle head with tube to get the oil out and used a turkey baster with the rubber bulb taken off to put the new fluid in. The turkey baster was long enough to easily pour the bottles in to and skinny enough at the end to see when the oil got up to the bottom of the threads.

Default ..changing sc oil

......Till I turn Blue ? LOL
As long as it doesn't smell like etching solution. That stuff really stinks. It is used
for removing rust on vehicles.
Any suggestions on how to catch the oil coming out ? Should I have a plastic
container catching the pumped out oil ?.......yeah I'm new at this.

Thanks.

Hey here's an idea.
Take a step by step pictures of it, later you can repost or post here.
Definitely help out the members here who have questions and about the procedure itself.

I just sprayed the old fluid into the bottle that I took the spray head and tube off of. It worked great.

I didn't notice any smell at all.

a liquid pump soap bottle works better than a sprayer. you can also use the soap bottle to catch the oil in like 70monte1 said. just make sure you throw it all away so you don't try and clean your hands with sc oil.

I think I read that the supercharger oil needs to be changed every 30,000 miles.

...thanks for the tips on changing the SC Oil.
I love this web site !
I like the liquid soap bottle idea. I could also use a empty Purell bottle.
Taking photos is a great idea.
I beleive that the SC oil needs to be changed every 30k - 50k. It all depends on how
much you drive your Supercharged MC or any other GM with a supercharger.
Maybe Taz or someone else needs to post a "How To".... on that portion
of this forum ?

Thanks again
