If I read correctly in that thread, this issue also could affect power steering right? My steering is getting a bit tighter and I filled it with new fluid recently..I dont really hear any squeeking though, and its only just become like this lately

ironically I am in the same boat I ordered from rock the trans mount and the right lower one. But there is only the right listed for lower engine mount so I am a little confused are there more than one right. The other front wheel drives I ever owned had two lower engine mounts as well as a trans mount. what I am saying is why is there only one listed for the engine the hd and oil filled oem one at rockauto.

I think they use the same part #, thats why its not listed diff. The front mounts atleast I would think they should be the same. They came up at autozone and orielys the same way as well.

Yes, basically cheaper version

There are 2 lower RIGHT mounts 1 is the (A5323HY) HYDRALUIC MOUNT front right lower. The other is the (A2990) RIGHT REAR LOWER.
monte07, I see in your sig you have E3 plugs (GM highly recommends that nothing less than an IRIDIUM plug be used in our engines)
My recommendation would be NGK TR6IX gapped at 0.035

Re-Read the post there is a lot more actual info in that thread.

Ah thanks, Im gonna join ls4 forum so I can get more info on our cars. Thanks for that clarification. Upon looking and installing the front, if need be I will purchase others, Ill probably swap them out within the summer, but I need this to be fixing to check out my tranny completely. Quick question off topic, if Im not having tranny issues and its not rebuilt, would be beneficial to either A ) add a shift kit now, or B) wait until a rebuilt and do it.

A
- as it is beneficial

also recommended
- an external trans fluid cooler
- regular filter changes @ 25000 miles
- Keeping your induction system spotless inside from the filter through to and including the throttle body

Awsome advice, I saw this thread on ls1 forum about a guy modding the bottom of his air box to allow more air through to the filter, what do you think about this? He basically cut the buttom of the box to fit the head light hole and allowed the filter to sit in stock wise, but just with the bigger hole. Instead of buying a whole CAI system. Any comment on this?

I will refrain from my real comment on that one. Other than I would not dear want to drive in wet conditions with my computers open like that (OUCH)
Think of it this way you have a 3.25" inlet now and a stock 2.25" exhaust out.
I still use my stock box (un-altered) and bumped my exhaust to 2.5" works great.
Highly recommend before any mods to these cars FIRST get it right and get yourself a tuner so you can monitor/datalog and adjust. Then a custom tune if/when required.
