Well I was having a good day until I was passing a car on the hi way at 70 and 1 of my piston rods broke and went through the side of my block .honestly it was like you see on NASCAR ther was a big pop and nothing but smoke out of the back of the car . So no car stereo show it took 4 hours to get the car back home .

 

Damn man, that's awful. Hope everything works out for you. At least it's not what I thought it was...when I read your title I thought it may have caught fire.

wow keith that really sucks, did you call insurance? i wouldn't i'd just swap the motor for now that way you dont lose all the work put into it.

Well thank you all it is a sad day for me !!! I have only put 7000 mi on my monte sence I got it and man I baby it all the time I guess it was just ment to be today at least every one is safe and no one was hurt.

 

Oh Man....Keith ! That's aweful ! Hopefully, the mechanic can determine what caused all that to happen. Well, at least you were'nt hurt
and the car itself was'nt damged more than it is.

Luckily I have been saving money for the turbo for the car and now that wil go for a new motor I guess I made a ton of call wile waiting for a tow truck and if I order the motor tomorrow I should have a new one in 7 days and installed 2 days after that my mechanic wait it will take 17 hr to install it

 

Man that sux, but atleast everyone is alright & ur able to buy a new motor, u gonna stay na or go for a sc motor?
