is there a supercharger or a turbo made for a 96 3100 ls monte carlo??

other then that "electric supercharger" i found there is nothing unless u can modify something made for another car. sorry

yeah the onlything i have is a sneeky pete nitrous kit. Kind of lame but it sounds cool when i tell people i got nitrous. Then they ask what kind of shot lol

yeah you could try and do a turbo or custom fab a SC. the reason why you dont see any kits is...after spending 1500-2500 on a Turbo or SC kit you will barely be making the power of a stock 3800 SC! and you would still need a better trany.

a full engine swap is quoted at 3-4K for engine and trany! and even some room in there for some mods. taking a 3100 heck even my 3.4L DOHC into 14s is quite a feet! the L67 (3800 SC) does these times factory. and there are many ove them in the low 13's to 12's.... so save the money for a swap.

yeah thanx for the advise.... will a grand prix motor work in my car. Its a 3800 bored to a 4.2 with a 1450 e hd tranny. I have the computer and wire harnes also

97 grand prix gt with the vaccum assist trany. would it work you think? I know im going to have to change the cradle where it sits but i dont think im going to have to cut out pieces to make it fit....would I?

to fit a 3800 series engine in a 95-99 monte you need the 98-99 z34 engine cradle and harness. the grandprix harness wont work. motorswap.org is a good place to research the swap. it usedto be the l67swap.com but now they are taking more info for other swaps aswell.
