2003 Monte Carlo Lack of Power
Can you save scans with the actron? If you can, go out and replicate the problem while logging a scan and post it to scan depot- that would make it a lot easier.
Make sure you record fuel trims (so we can tell if its starving for fuel), gear, etc- all the normal stuff.

Now it appears to only happen between 2000-3000 rpm. The very second you hit 3000 rpm it takes off like normal. And when you take off from a dead stop it moves and sounds normal till 2000 rpm then it bogs barely making it to 3000.
it could be a bad cat. one of my friend had goten a nissan and the cat had to be replaced. it did similar thing to what you described and it took forever to get up to speed.
i am having the same problem. i just thought it was the car because i am a new owner, but then someone was talking about it and said it should take off. but after i get to 2000 rpm it bogs and you can hear/see/feel the rpms jump..it is kinda hard to get on the express way in the morning sometimes.
Maybe you could look at the main sensors while you're scanning and post up what is happening with them then. I would bet almost 99% that those sensors readings will tell you exactly what is wrong, its just a matter of reading the right ones and interpreting them correctly.
