Default 2000 LS Monte Carlo

Hi everyone this is my first post to the forum but WILL NOT be my last... i have always been a huge fan of Monte Carlos whether its a first gen to mine, which happens to be a 2000 LS. Anyway this was/is my first car and i love it to death and plan on keeping it around for a long time. i recently have come across a 3.8L motor that is for sale where i live and i was wondering how big of a hassle it would be to do an engine swap. now i do not need an engine swap but like i said im not selling this car anytime soon and would like to have a plan b if fate would to come my way. any thoughts would be great and thanks for your time

I would imagine you will need a new computer/harness and they can b hard to find in 1 piece, idk if your transmission will work but it might. Guessing engine mounts will b different, possibly headers, I would suggest a supercharged 3800 simply cause the cost and labor you'll already have to do
