Default 1995 Z34 Died With No Warning...Any Ideas?

Hello, I've had my 1995 Monte Carlo z34 3.4 DOHC for ten years now and I have never encountered a problem with it like this before. I was recently driving my car when it shut off with no warning at all...no warning lights came on, it just died. The motor does not even turn over at all, even after I replaced the battery.Three weeks before this problem, I had the intake manifold gasket fixed, the thermostat and radiator replaced because the car was overheating. I would please like any ideas of what this could be, Thanks!

Does it make any kind of noise at all when you turn the key? Like does the started even click? I'm sure some of our expert members will have some other ideas.

Lougreen03, no the engine does not make any noise at all and the starter does not click.

If the timing belt broke it would still turn over, unless its a zero interference motor? Now it wont turn over, maybe something with the anti theft stuff? Or your starter solenoid is bad, but that wouldent have caused it to just shut off, while driving. How long was the battery disconnected /dead before replaced? If your alternator went bad?, and you had a junk battery then waited to long to replace it, that would set off the anti theft stuff. It could be lots or a combination of stuff. Fuel pump and theft lock combo? Email me if you need help? Jdietschweiler@gmail.com I will give my number after if not good luck!

jdietschweiler, my car sat in my driveway for 8 months before I could afford to fix the overheating problem. The battery I had in the car when it sat in the driveway went bad, and I replaced it with a used battery. After I had the overheating problem fixed, that's when the car died and I replaced the used battery with a brand new one. The used battery was never disconnected before I installed the new battery.

I had the alternator replaced about six years ago, but I don't think it's that because it would still charge the battery and the engine would turn over. Maybe it's the electrical system?
