Default 180-Degree Thermostat Installation: Remarks?

I'm going to swap-out my Thermostat and get the Monte ready for some long runs out of Massachusetts over into New York. The bulk of these runs to the Albany area are going to be when the Summer heat is radiating off the blacktop. So, with some time to do a little work on the Monte ... I'd like to get the Thermostat out of the way.

Who has doe this? Anything other than not trying to make a big mess involved? Any precautions from the Wrenches and Tuners?

Looks like the Thermostat housing is under the Throttle Body. I plan on moving that out of the way and using new hardware to replace the bolts holding-on the housing.

Just do it?
Or, be careful you don't do something ... like what???

Pretty straight forward install. Biggest thing is to make sure you "burp" the system of any air pockets. That's what the fitting on top is for. Make sure you get a high flow thermostat and not just a 180 deg thermostat from the auto parts place. Online is about the only way to get one, unless you can drive to SLP or someplace like I can to ZZPerformance.
