While going up hills the engine gets doggy and the rpms drop then go back up but drop again it sounds like the engine wants to quit when it happens. I have to take my foot off the gas and hit it to get the car back to normal and it just seems to be getting worse? Anybody know what it is and what to do to fix it?

 

more info please. if the load is too much the tcc will unlock and try to relock. this could be it... but more info would be needed. how many miles do you have on it? if performance is dropping it could be time for a tune up.

 

yes, more info needed, what happens if you put the car in 3rd gear instead of drive? same issue?
