Default '02 SS Supercharger Kit?

Were there ever any supercharger kits made/still made for the '02 SS? I've tried shopping around a bit online, but have had no luck... I could just be really bad at shopping around, but if anybody could get back to me on this it would be greatly appreciated...

That s/c kit is horribly overpriced and you would be wise to save a little more money and buy a base turbo kit. Also, do yourself a favor and do a search for "top swaps" on 3800s. You can do that for $1000 or less.

The 3800 has MANY options available.

i would look into a top swap if i were you. if you read into this kit, it is designed to make less bost because of the higher compression ratio of a n/a 3800. if you did a top swap youd have the right heads, and compression ratios to make more boost. which is more power. youll save alot of money by doing a top swap which you could then turn around and use that money for a better blower, or head work if desired.

Hmmm.. I'll have to read into it a lot more. Honestly, I know bits and pieces about my car, but I'm sure I'm probably one of the least knowledgeable people about car mods on here..

Yeah a top swap is the way to go. Just need heads, lower intake manifold, supercharger, throttle body, crank pulley, and a couple other things from the L67 engine to make it work. Plus a tune.

could he avoid the tune, if he were to remove the pcm from a supercharged donor car?

I don't see how a tune is avoidable because an L67 PCM is going to expect the transmission to have 2.93 gears. Plus I would imagine a good top swap tune would need a few things changed in order to run knock free.
