I bought some Turtle Wax ICE car wash soap!

I went to Pep Boys with the intention on picking up some Meguiar's Ultimate, but it was $10 for 48oz. Whereas the TW ICE was only $4 for 64oz. At that price I had to give it a shot, review to come soon!

 

Sounds like you got a hell of a deal there. I'd say it shouldn't work out too bad, car wash soap is car wash soap. Polish, wax, and compound is where I get a lot more picky.

 

are you implying that all car wash soaps are of equal quality?

 

that was the last bottle i bought. its real light blue, and says it makes water spots disappear. GL with living up to that.

its a pretty big bottle and has lasted me last year and its almost gone this year. cant beat the price. and it suds up pretty good.

 

yeah most car wash soaps are the same, you'll really notice a difference if you get the real cheap stuff. some of them include wax but if are going to wax the car anyways then it shouldnt matter.

 

I only wax twice a year so I appreciate a nice wash soap like Chemical Guys Citrus wash n gloss, which can also be used as a QD, wheel cleaner and clay lube when diluted properly
