What polisher should i get?

there are sooo many choices on brands and sizes and kinds and it is very overwhelming...i would like to keep in under 150-200 if possible. I have a 2002 MC that has tons of swirl marks from the previous owner not taking good care of the exterior. Comments are appreciated!

I don't like on recommending rotary's to people unless there highly experienced.. they can easily do more damage than good....

If you would like rotary. look in to Flex PE14-2-150.. FLEX PE14-2-150 Rotary Polisher, FLEX circular polisher, rotary buffer, circular buffer, FLEX PE14 But its way over price range.. I think its the best rotary.. easy to control. lighter. lower speeds for special polishing.. etc..

The Makita is variable speed aswell & is just as easy to use

Dnt kno about the polish but haha that's funny that grand am wants to race u my buddy raced me in my 04 ss s/c wit his grand am. We both had CAI n he had an exhaust system. He got me at the launch by maybe a quarter car. Half way after 1st i blew him out. Ud win. He only has weight advantage over u

Have used the Makita polisher for years now polishing marble floors and columns. Have used this on my Monte now about 5 times, seems to be the ticket.

Have you ever had any experience with an orbital or a DA or anything?

and that grand am would be closer than you think, I beat 3800 N/A Montes and GPs all the time. There's only a ~550 HP difference.

No i have never used or owned any sort of polisher so thats why i asked this question...im not a dummy when it comes to detailing but would i ruin the paint or any chance i would with a rotary?
