I really hope you meant to put an "f" in there when talking about your "shift points".

I just gotta say, that clay bar is a pretty cool thing. It's amazing to see what is left behind after you wash your car.

we have another machiner, huh? glad im not the only one. And yes, clay is a godsend. I was equally amazed as you guys the first time I clayed my car which I thought was clean. So many contaminants, it's almost unbelieveable. I ALWAYS polish after I clay and before I wax, this is for a few reasons. The first one being, to fill in any microswirls or imperfections in the paint from washing/claying/washing again. Secondly, it makes waxing so much easier when you are applying over such a smooth surface, removal is improved as well. It's another step, I know, but being the **** retent I am about my car, I'll have it no other way.

man did i screw up, i ran my mc though a automatic car wash (which i don't normally do)
and add the spot free rinse, what a big mistake, i got home home and rinsed it down and shammed it off and the spots where still there, i had to wax the car again to get the spots out.

well it was spot free in some places LOL
just most of the car was not those places. I hate that cra they shoot threw them things.

The liquid wax is the worse . I am glad i have a place i can wash my car at home and not worrie abotu that stuff anymore.
not to mention the swirl marks it puts in to the pain if you dont find one that has felt brushes in staed of those plastic strips

Waxing just hides em, doesn't get em out.
