Okay, well I know I posted this before, but the images were pretty crapy. This time I used photoshop and got a better quality idea as to what I was thinking. I know that I'm doing the stripes for sure, and maybe sometime in the future I might do the custom type deal.








The stripes are going to have the 1/4" pinstripe around the outside, I just didn't feel like taking the time right now and throwing those in.

looks good. I really like the rear quarter panel spot. Adds a nice touch that you usually don't see.

 

I like the front end. But not really crazy about the shark fin on the rear quarter.
But to each their own.

 

To be honest I only like the first one.

 

Have you tried a single stripe down the hood? With the double stripe it almost looks too busy. Great concept though!

 

I haven't actually, I didn't even think of it. For now I'm just going to do the stripes, I'm in contact with a graphic shop here in town so I'll hopefully get it done next week if it warms up a bit.

Edit: I put the single stripe in, still looks busy, but not quite as much. I think I'll stick with the rally stripes for now and in five years or so when the vinyl starts getting crappy, I might end up with a whole new paint job. I'll probably need one with how many door dings I've gotten in the last few weeks.

 

The 2 racing stripes are a classic muscle carlook that looks great on our cars, go for them

 

 

You know Space, I was trying to decide a year or two ago when I first started doing little things as to what color combo I wanted. At first I wanted the dark silver and red, hence the seat covers. After looking around and driving the Monte more I decided that because all the trim was already black that I would see if I couldn't do a two tone deal with black and dark silver. After however many years it takes me to get a body kit, I plan on doing the body kit a gloss black, and eventually I want to get the seats redone or just buy new ones that are black with dark silver accents, and maybe even cover some door panels in a dark silver suede, but all of this is going to take a few years to get done as money slowly trickles in and college yanks it away.

I'll probably photoshop up some silver stripes sometime to see how they would look on the darker silver...

Edit: I went ahead and did it, didn't take but five minutes.
