What steering wheel cover do you guys use. I have a generic chevy cover that I pick up at W.A. Lmart and I like the feel but it is beginning to tear because it is not the proper size. The stock wheel feels funny because I have never driven the car without a cover on it. I want one that fits and also feels nice, what do you guys use?

I found a Dale Jr steering wheel cover at a local autoparts store. And it fit's like a glove. Been using it for almost two years and hasn't ripped yet.

I looked into getting a cover like ChiBi Mike's from wheelskins. But wasn't too thrilled on paying the price and having to sew it onto the wheel myself. Plus PFYC.com charges insane shipping costs to ship to canada.

If you get a wheel cover that fits a 15-16 inch steering wheel, you should be good.

 

It only takes a little over an hour, but it looks so nice

 

My major concern was the cost. The price of the cover is one thing. But PFYC is insanely expensive when they ship to Canada. When I bought my trunk lid liner from PFYC, the shipping and brokerage fees cost me $100 alone. The trunk lid liner sold for $99.

 

Oh wow, that really stinks.

If you ever decide you really want one in the future, I can buy it for you and take it out of the box and put it in an envelope for you (if that's a cheap way to ship)

 

The wheelskins do look nice. Are they soft?

 

They aren't padded, they are just natural leather that you stitch on. It makes the wheel a little thicker but it's still a nice leather feel

 

i was wondering where you got your wheel skin chiba mike now i know and knowing is half the battle;P
