Default Steering wheel

Well seeing as I have an Aftermarket stereo i find all the buttons on ym steering wheel to be a bit annoying, and i never really use the CC anyway. You guys know of any good sites to find a clean looking steering wheel? and you got any tips for when i replace it?

Don't know any but I'll tell you what if those buttons are in decent shape I for one could be interested and I'm sure there are others here that would be too. Could help offset the price of a new one!

Finding one in a junkyard or Morad would be my only quick guess for an airbag steering wheel but I believe they all would have the cc buttons too.

Alright well ive been doing some reseach. There arent any companies that make aftermarket steering wheels with airbags due to wiring differences, and federal law states that tampering with or removing an airbag is illegal. So it seems putting a new steering wheel would be breaking some laws... but hey my car is already illegal so **** it lol

just in case anyone else is interested

Why not just get the adapter so that you can use your steering wheel buttons with your aftermarket deck?

The SWI-X uses an infrared beam to communicate with your stereo's remote eye.
Vehicle must have steering wheel controls. Your aftermarket receiver must also have a functioning wireless remote.

I'm pretty sure that means it wont work

The only wires on my head unit were to hook up the individual speakers and the power/ign

That was just an example, I don't have an aftermarket radio

But I know there are harnesses to allow you to use the buttons.
