Default Spoiler repalcement

Hi Guys

Just wondering if a pacecar spoiler would cover the holes from the surfboard type spoiler. Reason asking, I have 06 Monte LT, with the surfboard type spoiler, jsut wanting to know if they now of any one replacing the spoiler with the pacecar version. And if the mounting hole's can be covered with pacecar spoiler or will they be used to mount the PAcecar spoiler?? any help would be appreciated.

thanks

I was contemplating Replacing My Surfboard Style Spoiler, on My 2001 Black Monte Carlo SS, Im looking for the pacecar/nascar type spoiler, and one where i dont have to paint it and it will just bolt into the original holes in the trunk, anyone know where to get a nice one?

where you dont have to paint it?? wouldn't you have to match the color?? that would look funny having a different color spoiler

Will this one fit right?, just simply take off the surfboard style and put this one on?

no that spoiler wont cover up existing holes, the only ones that will are the 06-07 spoilers, try to find a monte with that spoiler in 04-05 and you will see what i mean why it wont work for you

so I'll need to find an 06-07 Spoiler, for everything to be good, and not have to cover up any holes?
