I hope no one takes offense, but I think I would be more in the market for new tail lights if I had the older model ones as well. I don't care for them at all, but I really like how the 06-07 looks.

You know, if anyone got the clear LED altezzas, you could have something very similar to the 06-07 tails if you get some Krylon stained glass and paint them.

It's a trick I learned from the Luders:

Personally, this was what I wanted to do anyway with my MC when I got it because the LED's look better and last longer, but I don't like the chrome look back there so this was the perfect solution. Everyone whose done it has had excellent results and it lasts a long time. Some of them have had it for 4+ years and haven't had to redo them yet.

Good luck on that if the dealer is anything like my local Chevy dealer.

They refuse to replace the headlights on my '06 Monte. I've shown them the chrome is bad inside which other '06 owners have posted they got their dealership to replace the headlights on their Montes no problem.

Not mine.

They act like they have to pay for the replacements....... themselves.

And I already got the work approved by Chevy in 2007.

Doesn't matter to the dealer.
