spoiler...?
this might have already been asked im not sure... but my car has the lower flat type spoiler and i like the look of the like ski jump nascar type spoiler is there a way to simply just un bolt the flat one and bolt the other one on or are the mounts different and then id have holes in the trunk lid...

The Flat spoiler is called surfboard.
the 00-05 pace car spoiler, will NOT bolt right up. However the NICER 06-07 stand-up spoiler will be a direct replacement.
Stay away from aftermarkets they will usually say 00-07 but mean the 00-05 pace car spoiler that will not line up, try to find a junk yard with a new monte / a parted car for a blown engine.

If you have the disposable income, you can buy the primed 06-07 spoiler off gmpartsdirect.com for like... $350-$400

yeah i dont have one of those lol i was thinkin i can just wait till a white 06-07 monte rolls through my work and swap em out haha and i didnt know the technical names for them... thats weird that the 06-07 fits kinda... what about the tail lights?!?

I assume you mean the tails, and not the 3rd brake light. I don't know if you think the 3rd light is attached to the spoiler or not? It's not.
Umm the tails fit also. But there are really nice LED tails for our cars that come in chrome, black, red, and clear that you should look for.

I can see where you are coming from, but to actually see them on the monte, with the black but just the red ring showing on an all black monte it ties nicely.
The chrome yes, but I think the black on a black car looks good.
