Your Monte is looking & sounding sweet. I like that nice clean look. No badges. Except for the SS emblems. I also REALLY like that White engine cover. Really POPS when you open the hood. Are you going to go with that ? I should be doing mine this weekend also. But Mine will be in Red With some White ... Like was said the cover doesn't get that hot. I returned from a trip to a friends garage. When I opened my hood to check on something. And it wasn't hot at all.....MAYBE a little clear paint over it will be easier to keep clean. Just wash it off when washing the car! Or just hose it off..

thanks Rick, i think i've made up my mind on the white
i found some high heat engine paint and high heat clear just in case
really want to start it today, we'll see

can't wait to see yours

Lol mine is only that clean when its on cd of my hard drive is on or the radio itll cover the screen with info
