I ordered an SLP grille, should be getting it soon but don't know if i should leave it all black or paint the surrounding edge to match my car

let me know what you guys think

 

Mine is not a SLP grille but a Tony Stewart grille. I had the edges painted on mine. Here is a pic just to give you an idea what it looks like. I had the grille area painted to match my ground effects also.

 

Paint it white to match your Monte. All white.

 

I've seen alot of pics on SLP grilles painted and left black, I like em both
And ummm all white, ehh :p
Doesn't seem to go with my car to be honest, I want some black on the grille to compliment my dark wheels

 

i was thinking all white would be sweet maybe and if you're just spray painting it id try it lol

 

I can't vote in your poll because I don't know your plans.

If you decide to do the lower grille black, then doing just the outside white and leaving the middle black would look much better. But having that be the only bit of black will look weird on your car. (IMO)

However, if don't paint the grille white, the white behind your grille will show through and look weird.

 

Paint it white.. I have a Tony Stewart Grille Black like my Monte..

 

i see what your saying mike, well the i dont think i like the all white idea :p
i think im goin with the white around the grill and black in the center
and of course im painting behind the grill first
as for the lower grille, i'll just paint it black, i dont see the point in spending $70 for the slp one when you can easily paint it yourself

and on a black monte everything looks nice in black to match :p

 

I bought it a few years ago for $120 new.. Should look nice with center black and edge white..
