Just wondering, I really like the side mirrors for a grand prix gt, the ones that are just like monte ones, but have the little wave in em. Do they fit an '02 monte? I think that'd be a sexy upgrade. Also, wondering if anyone with an 00-05 monte had any sound clips/pictures of their aftermarket exhaust cuz I'm looking at Borla but it's about 2 Gs and on a student budget thatd be kinda rough, so just wanna see what else is out there. sure would be interesting to know if they work, they wont be heated as the ones on the grand prix aren't and they are on the monte carlo's so you'd have to do something about that wiring

looking at the mirrors on crosscanadaparts.com they look like they could have the same bases, but i'm not sure, i'd have to see 2 cars side by side to tell

personally i wouldn't put them on mine, because i like the sleek look of the ones that are on there on my car, but definetley to each his own

If you were thinking about buying Borla for 2 G's do not. i have just bought cat-back borla off ebay brand new for $400 shipped to my door there are some more out there but do not spend 2 g's on it. also 3800performance.com has borla for i think around 850.00.

 

Ah, sounds good, I wanna see what I can get. I'm thinking of getting headers for it too. How exactly does that work with headers, does that then do 2 pipes straight from the engine? or is it still gonna be 1 pipe out, and then split? Bigg J, just search for any 00-05 grand prix and look at the mirrors.

Would it work to just pull the actually mirror out of the casing from my mirror, shave it down to the right shape and size for the grand prix casing and then just remount that? that way I'd still have the heated mirror, as long as I don't break anything. Also, I know in some older cars with heated mirrors, the heater is just a plate that sits behind the actual mirror, anyone know if ours are like that? ('02 LS)

the only thing is they're not heated like the mirrors in the monte carlo, so if they did fit, you'd have wires that aren't being used

 

if you really want a good exhaust job just go to a muffler shop in your area and tell them what you want and how you want it, i did it for my monte and they are only charging me 250 for everything but i am holding them up cause i am looking for suggestion as to what i want to use
