So I saw the SS embroidered on my friend's Trailblazer SS, and now I want that!

Anyone know how likely it is to be able to get this in the seat back without takign the leather off the seat? Say it's not possible, I could take the leather off the headrest and get it done, anyone know how it comes off?

Anyone know approximately how much something like this goes for, or can a person just buy a new headrest already embroidered? I saw some montes had a bowtie in the headrest.

 

well for the headrests you can get the ones out of the 06-07 impala ss and put them in...as for the back seat you would have to take the seat out and send it to a place that does it...i'm pretty sure they would have to take the leather off to do it...but its not that big of a deal

 

Good thinking! However, those don't have the "seatbelt corrale" as our montes do right? Can a person get that off the existing headrest and put it on the Impalla headrest?

 

you can put the seatbelt thingy from yours onto that...there's a member on here that did that a while back...can't remember for sure who it was...but it looked awesome when it was done...maybe it was revitupfaster....but i'm not sure

but i know you can put your seat belt things on the impala ones

Wasn't me that changed the headrests but I seem to remeber he was from the Toronto area. He apparently ordered a set of the Impala SS headrests from his dealerand they popped right in. Great idea and look, I just thought the price was a little steep. Seemed to me they were in the area of $150 each.

 

yah i think thats what he said is that they were 150 ea and he used his existing seat belt brackets on them, very easy install

 

Wow, $150 is out of my price range, i was thinkin between like $50-75 each. Guess I wont be doing that.

 

check at your local junk yard... how bad it sounds im guessing they might have a wrecked impala thier trying to get the scraps taken off of. most of the time they will sell them pretty cheap if the seats are damaged!
