My buddy had a 97 Camaro that was black with silver stripes and it looked badass

 

I saw a pic of the '06 SS (1 of 1,000 made) Pace cars. Black w/silver rally stripes. It looks great.

i ended up fixing it 2 months later it was done like end of oct. early november...didnt do anything to it but add the grill i'll post pics later but anyway im thinkin of addin red stripes but i already have checkered flags on the bottom of the driver door and passenger door its grey should i paint that red too?

 

Sweeeeeeet! Do you guys install these stripes yourselves, or do you have a pro put them on?

 

I hired a graphix shop to install mine. And they installed the stripes wrong (as many of you already know).

My family says to go back on the shop. Insist they buy another kit and eat the cost. Since they are professionals they should have known how the stripes go.

Not sure that I like the flames, might get it with out those flames. I was thinking either silver metallic or light charcoal metallic (color chart). What do you guys think?

I'm not sure how the darker light charcoal metallic would look on a black car. I'm waiting on a response from a local graphix shop about installation price.

 

How are these kits holding up for you guys now? Are they maintaining their color and shine?

The reason I ask is a have an 09 Challenger and it has silver stripes, After about 4 months they had to be replaced due to spotting. They told me silver was prone to this. My Mom bought an 06 Monte LTZ and its black. She is thinking of getting SS badges and silver stripes. I dont want to install them and have to remove them a few months later. So any feedback would help. Thanks

 

well i think she shouldnt put SS badges on it, because that's just kinda posing, as far as stripes it depends one where you want to get them, some one here have gotten them with no problems at all, where was she looking at the strips from?
