i like the SSs on the 06/07 but the block letters are terrible. i personally never liked the monte carlo script on the 6th gen though. they changed it from the 70-87 script which i actually thought was nice, but wouldnt look right on the 6/7th gens.

I'm a fan of the script as well, i really don't care for the block style that EVERYTHING gm put out has, but whatever. . . the only place mine says "Monte Carlo" on it is on the trunk and rocker panel so it's not too big of a deal. As far as the SS, i think you'd be fine putting the 06 & 07 on it, if you'd wanna take some new and old and put it together you could get the newer SS and put a red inlay over the pearl white. basically look like what you have, except the diff. font and a chrome outline around the red. It's really all up to you, all we can do is suggest. . . . good luck & show pics!!

I am getting rid of the emblems on my 1980 Monte. I like the clean no badge look.

It's your car so do what you think looks best. Personally I don't mind either, but I think blending the script writing with the new SS badges doesn't look good. I just wish on the 6th gens, GM would have made the Monte Carlo script silver instead of body color.

I changed my script emblems out on my red car so they are silver. Can't really do that with the 05 though LOL!!!!! The supercharged emblem only came in silver heeheehee.
