Default New Grille!

Hey, I just bought a new grille for my car. I've had a billet grille (black, of course) for awhile now, but because it required cutting out the stock grille, I've held back. But I just picked up a stock grille off of ebay, so I have a spare to cut up without having to worry about screwing up my original!

If anyone else wants to check them out, it's http://www.carriageworksinc.com/

I will post a pic for everyone's pleasure. This is the grille I got, but I'm assuming it's the polished/brushed version, not the black one I have. You'll also notice it's on a Impala, not a Monte Carlo, but the upper grille, the only part I'm doing for right now, is the same for both models. You'll note info on the Monte Carlo grille isn't on their website for now, but I can only assume it will sooner or later.

The upper grille alone cost about 110$ shipped, and You can find them at lots of online dealers.

Hi `Mike,
I think it's going to be a super mod for your LT3.
That's a decent price on the grille : )
Thanks 4 $haring : )
I will be looking forward to your future pic's.
Let us know how the install goes...Step by Step pic's would
be a super bonus for others fortunate to be able to do it.
Also, I really like your new `sig that Craig did on your Monte.
Wish U a Happy/Day/Life,
`Space

I'll get step by step pics for sure, and a couple of before and after shots as well.

I'm really excited, I just gotta wait for the stock grille to get her to start hacking it up. Thinking I'll take off/paint over the chrome trim too... but I'll try different ways to see what looks best. Can't believe that was only 30$ shipped... I can only imagine what a dealer, or junkyard would ask.

Just Ebay Motors search for 06-07 Monte Carlo parts. Was from a personal seller, who had good feedback.Still waiting for shipment confirmation though! (is tappin fingers) It's been over since like tuesday and she said it would ship tomorrow. So hopefully I'll have it by next weekend. Shouldn't be a problem with UPS ground, they're pretty quick to Iowa.

My guess is that theylisted it for a friend or something. They usually deal in vehicular stuff, but usually buy, not sell.Weekend garage mechanic possibly?

Doesn't bother me, I got a killer price, not even one person counter-bid!
