I love how this thing looks, I feel like the car is finally finished!

 

WOW MAN! That thing really looks great. I was considering getting a new 06 spoiler for my 2000 monte but I was a little optimistic because I didn't know if it would fit.

How did you install that? Just through the exsisting holes? And did you do it yourself or a shop do it?

Thanks! The '06 spoiler bolts into the exact same holes as the flat "surfboard spoiler." I was planning on installing it myself, but my shop offered to take care of it for me for free, so obviously, I took them up on their offer. If anyone plans on doing this and you have the surfboard, beware that you will have scratches int he paint left from the old spoiler, and the new one doesn't cover them up. I had to have the shop repaint the top of my trunk lid to get rid of those scratches, so just keep that in mind.

Thats awesome! Did you buy it straight from the dealer or from a different place? How much was it?, if I may ask. And I don't have a spoiler at all on my monte. . .So I don't think I'd have to worry about the scratches. But I am trying to also find a good place to have them drill the holes and put it on.

J/K I love your monte. Not sure if you know, but we nominated you for MOTM for September. Didn't hear from you, so we have an all black competition this month. Lets get it hooked up for next month, eh? I think with this latest edition, you would be a strong contender.
