more or less ya. There are other products out there that contain polymers and synthetics that will provide some mild protection abilities ie like some polishes and glazes.

Edit.. When I say mild I mean like a few days to a few hours.. Its just that allot of polishes and glazes contain oils that repel rain etc just for a little while unit it gets broken down. Thats why you need to seal them in after your done polishing with sealants and waxes

Turtle wax?
I used Meguairs recently and it works GREAT.
I use an Aplicator Pad to put on and a good cloth to take off.

There is allot.. Its just how much money your willing to spend on a quality Carnauba Wax or Sealant

Ill try to come up with a few in various price ranges.
This here is my favorite Sealant.. Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant. Its more than worth its money and you can get tons of usage out of it, and It protects for a long time. http://www.autogeek.net/wg5500.html

This one looks outstanding on darker shades of cars. But even light colored cars will still look great with it and it protects well.http://www.topoftheline.com/blackfire-wet-diamond.html

And here are some carnauba waxes:

This here is my all time favorite wax but its very expensive, like I said before this one looks great on darker colors but even light ones it looks like dripping wet paint http://www.autogeek.net/pinsouvwax.html

This is as close to a liquid form of carnauba you can get but again on the pricy side. http://www.autogeek.net/pinliqsouvwa.html.

Do you have trouble removing Zanio. Ive never tried it personally so I dont actually know, but ive herd its hard to remove which is what shied me away from their products.

Not one bit, unless u put too much on it during an application. What I like about it is that the more u apply over time the better and deeper it looks. Never clouds.
