Smile Just bought our first Monty

We have a 2003 Monty LS with 3.4l. Very clean with 57,000mi. It has spoiler and factory upgraded alum/alloy rims. Its Galaxy Silver. Very nice and clean from one owner. We are looking at boosting performance a little and apperance. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Congrats on the purchase.

Performance boosters:
- L67 coils
- Cold air intake
- High flow cat (possibly a u-bend delete)
- A performance tune

As for appearance, a new set of wheels can go a long way!

If your gonna get high performance coils don't forget to get high performance plug wires to go with it. No point in the extra power the coils provide if its too much for the plug wires to carry.

Neither are needed, stock ignition system works very well

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I think we will keep it simple since its only the 3400 engine. Not much you can do to it to make it worthwhile. (Put K&N Air Filter, Rally Stripes and Pinstripes, Moon Roof on her)

I do want to install dual exhaust on it. Any suggestions? My local muffler guy said its going to be expensive since most muffler kits are for the 3800. It seems it shouldnt be an issue since the other side has all the hanger brackets and a notch in the molding for another tailpipe.

Oh and I dont want it to sound too loud. Looking at some Flo Pro knock off mufflers.

Thanks!!
